Pilonidal sinus disease is a tract with an opening on the skin leading to a collection of hair. It most commonly occurs in the tailbone-coccyx (in the midline between the buttocks)but it can also occur elsewhere, for example in hands and around the navel area. Pilonidal Sinus is extremely painful and requires medical attention to remove.

Cyclists, swimmers, runners, body builders and weight lifters are often mentioned as the sports that require no body hair, but any sport where chafing can happen (just think tights) is a good candidate to prompt a man’s laser hair removal quest.
