Miss Olivia Wells was crowned Miss Universe Australia and will be representing the country in the Miss Universe pageant this November in Moscow! As you may already know, one of our favourite para-medical skin care brands, DMK, sponsored the Miss Universe Australia pageant, and the founder, Danne-Montague King, was a guest judge! We are inspired by Olivia’s story, and love knowing that her life has been so personally effected by DMK… here’s her story.
Olivia is a 19-year-old Medical Student from Victoria, who has always been sceptical of at-home skin care brands. This is because her father and brother have both suffered from severe acne in their teenage years, her brother Lachlan, was so effected by his skin condition, that it led to deep self esteem issues as well as depression.
In the past, Olivia’s brother had tried everything from supermarket brands, old wives tails and even prescription medication. With none of these options working, Lachlan was beginning to feel more and more ashamed of how he looked. When Olivia began her Miss Universe Australia journey, she was introduced to DMK for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed her clinical treatments, including the DMK Enzyme Corrective treatment! She was also told Danne’s personal experience with acne as a teenager; his story had resonated completely with Olivia, as this was exactly what her little brother had gone through.
It was then that she decided to take some products home and experiment with her brother, Lachlan. Together, they tried the foamy lift/exoderma peel mask, which works to gently exfoliate, remove impurities and debris, as well as brighten and tighten the skin. After just one treatment, Olivia’s brother noticed a marked decrease in redness and scarring!
“Just to see his face light up after he took the mask off… wow, it was an instant difference!” says Olivia of her brother’s reaction to just one DMK at-home treatment.
Olivia truly believes that DMK has saved her brother’s life; he is now continuing to use the products and will soon be trying his first clinical treatment also! If you know someone whose story is the same as Lachlan’s or Danne’s, you can let them know that at The Laser Lounge, we provide DMK clinical treatments as well as at-home product packs that are personalised to suit your specific skin concerns! All you need to do is call us on 1300 963 962 and book in a skin analysis with one of our trusty skin revisionists.
Wishing Olivia the best of luck for the Miss Universe competition in November!
